Many medications look the similar in shape, size and color. In the Rx bottle patients can follow the description on the label. When out of the bottle it becomes a headache! We found a simple solution and wanted to share with others.
Spray icing is simple safe way to add differentiating color to pills
We found two sprays ~4" away from the pills is sufficient to coat the pills.
You can also use the colors to give patients signals about when to take the pills. For example, yellow for morning medication and blue for night medication.
